Réserve Royale Saperavi QW Georgia 0.75L
Saperavi is one of the few red wine grapes in the world with red pulp—this gives it a natural depth of color and tannin structure that hardly any other variety achieves. Château Mukhrani perfectly captures this in this dry Réserve Royale: a powerful ruby red in the glass, a wine with substance.
The winery is located in Kartli, the historical heart of Georgia, about 30 kilometers west of Tbilisi. For centuries, the region was the seat of the Georgian royal family—Château Mukhrani itself dates back to a 19th-century princely palace and is now one of the country's most prestigious estates. The combination of a continental climate, mineral-rich soil, and the indigenous Saperavi grape variety produces red wines with character and aging potential.
In the glass, the wine displays dark berry fruit—blackberry, black plum—with spicy hints of bay leaf and dark chocolate. The tannins are present but not harsh; the finish is long and dry. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Drinking window until 2028. Pairs well with braised lamb, beef stew, or strong hard cheese.
