Per Sempre Syrah IGT Tuscany 0.75L

The Per Sempre Syrah from Tua Rita shows what Tuscany can achieve with this Rhône grape variety: a deep dark, almost impenetrable red in the glass, behind it a density that makes an impression from the start.

Tua Rita is one of the most famous wineries in the Maremma, the wild coastal region in the southwest of Tuscany. Rita Tua and her husband Virgilio Bisti founded the estate in 1984 — originally as a leisure project that developed into a reference address for Tuscan Supertuscans. The estate stands for consistent quality with international grape varieties on Tuscan soil.

On the nose, the wine opens with ripe forest berries — blackberry, black currant — finely underpinned by tobacco, leather, and a hint of lavender. On the palate, powerful and fruit-driven, yet silky in texture with well-integrated tannins and a long, spicy finish.

Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs with braised rack of lamb, game ragù with pappardelle, or a strong Pecorino stagionato.
