The grapes come from the Napanook Vineyard in Yountville — one of the most famous vineyards in the Napa Valley, which is managed in the vicinity of Dominus Estate. The location on well-drained alluvial soil with cool afternoon winds from the San Pablo Bay produces Cabernet Franc with a clear aroma structure and natural freshness.

On the nose, the wine opens with cassis, dark plum, and blackberry, underneath licorice, herbs, and a hint of cedar wood. On the palate, juicy and dense, with polished tannins that provide weight without heaviness. The finish remains spicy and persistent.

Pairs well with rack of lamb with a herb crust, grilled entrecôte, or a strong hard cheese like Manchego. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
