Raspberry fruit wine

Raspberry fruit wine
Fermented raspberry fruit – not flavored. The fruit wine from the Glina distillery in Werder an der Havel shows what happens when you consistently focus on a single fruit.
Glina is primarily known for its whisky, but also experiments with fruit wines from the Brandenburg region. Production takes place in Werder an der Havel – an area that has been known for its fruit growing for generations.
In the glass, the wine shines a deep ruby red. The nose is immediate: ripe raspberry, a hint of wild berry jam, and a touch of sweetness. On the palate, it's soft, with 10.9 g of residual sugar, noticeably fruity and sweet – not a dry wine, but deliberately approachable and uncomplicated. The finish is short and fruity, without any bitterness.
- Temperature: 8–10 °C, serve well chilled
- Food: Chocolate mousse, panna cotta, cheesecake or vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce
- Occasion: Summer evening, dessert accompaniment, aperitif with cheese
If you're looking for a light, sweet fruit wine without any frills – and you like raspberry – this is the right place for you.
