Nusbaumer Mirabelle
Lorraine is considered the quintessential origin of the mirabelle plum — and Nusbaumer distills exclusively fruit from this core region. Two varieties are used in the brandy: the Mirabelle de Nancy with its sweet, well-rounded fruit profile, and the slightly more tart Mirabelle de Metz . Together, they create a depth that single-varietal distillates often fail to achieve.
In the glass, ripe yellow plum, a hint of almond blossom, and a dry, lingering finish without any bitterness are revealed. Serving temperature: 8–12 °C chilled, in a small tulip glass. Enjoy neat after a meal—or as a digestif with goat cheese and walnut bread.
