Nardelli Pink Edition Negroamaro Primitivo Puglia
Negroamaro and Primitivo are among the most distinctive grape varieties of Apulia — and the Nardelli Pink Edition brings both together in a wine that conveys the warmth and ripeness of the Mezzogiorno directly into the glass.
Puglia is one of Italy's sunniest wine-growing regions: red clay soils, intense sunshine, and Mediterranean heat. Negroamaro, literally "black bitter," brings structure and depth; Primitivo—genetically identical to California's Zinfandel—contributes sweet fruitiness and body. This combination produces wines that have much to offer even without long cellaring.
In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose offers aromas of dark cherry and blackberry, along with vanilla and a hint of clove. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a pleasantly warm finish—approachable, but not one-dimensional.
Ready to drink now, best served at 16–18 °C . Pairs well with grilled lamb chops, pasta al ragù, melanzane alla parmigiana, or mature pecorino cheese. Also a simple and enjoyable drink on its own for an evening on the terrace.
Nardelli stands for wine that comes from the heart of Apulia – and belongs exactly there. Deeply rooted in the warm, red soil of southern Italy, shaped by sea air and sunshine, wines are produced here from indigenous grape varieties that grow nowhere else quite like this.
What makes Nardelli special: no grand staging, no affected elegance – instead, genuine character in the glass. Wines that tell their story.
