Moulin à Vent AC 0.75L

Moulin à Vent AC 0.75L
Moulin-à-Vent is considered one of the most powerful among the ten Beaujolais Crus — and Maison Joseph Drouhin, rooted in Burgundy since 1880, shows here why this appellation is held in such high regard.
The vines stand on the characteristic pink granite with manganese in the subsoil, which gives Moulin-à-Vent its unmistakable structure. Gamay on this soil develops a depth that goes far beyond light Beaujolais character: in the glass, deep dark ruby red, on the nose, peony, ripe blackberry, and a hint of violets. On the palate, it shows substance — dense but supple tannins, lively acidity, and a persistent, slightly mineral finish.
Good with duck breast with cherries, grilled lamb chops, or a strong Époisses. Serving temperature: 16–17 °C — slightly cooler than classic red wines to emphasize the fruit.
