MontGras Intriga Cabernet Sauvignon

Viña Montgras, the new owners of this historic estate, have reserved the vines of the old vineyards for an exceptional wine that defines the quintessence of the Maipo Valley: Intriga. This Cabernet Sauvignon, available only in strictly limited quantities, is a monumental red wine aged for over 15 months in American and French oak barrels. The first vintage of this new "Super Chilean" caused an international sensation. We secured an allocation of the already sold-out second vintage and promise you an incredibly good wine at an amazingly low price! Ripe plum and blackcurrant with seductive notes of fresh mint, spicy mocha, and sweet chocolate define the nuanced aromatic profile of Intriga. Wine Enthusiast awarded the 2017 vintage 93 points and the 2017 vintage Mundus Vini Gold Medal.

Viña MontGras – founded in 1993 by brothers Hernán and Eduardo Gras and Cristián Hartwig. Three estates in Chile: Intriga, Ninquén, and Amaral. 930 hectares where vines grow on volcanic, clay, and granite soils. Mild climate, averaging 22°C in summer. Sustainable approach, exports to over 35 countries. The portfolio includes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Carmenère. In 2016, James Suckling awarded 90 points or more to several of the winery's wines. Top-class Chilean wines with character.
