Millanni Toscana IGT

Millanni Toscana IGT
A red wine with history: Millanni was created in 1994 to celebrate the thousandth anniversary of the Cusona estate — and has since only been released in years when Tuscany is at its best.
Guicciardini Strozzi is one of the oldest wineries in Tuscany. Cusona, near San Gimignano, has been family-owned for over a thousand years—a continuity reflected in the estate's philosophy: no mass production, but rigorous selection. The Millanni is the flagship of this approach, a classic Super Tuscan from the heart of the IGT movement.
In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red. The nose offers blackberry, black cherry, and an undertone of cinnamon and dark pepper. On the palate, it is dense and concentrated, with tannins that are full-bodied but not harsh—ripe, firmly integrated, with a long, spicy finish.
Serving temperature 17–18 °C. Drinking window depending on the vintage: 5–10 years. Pairs well with Bistecca alla Fiorentina , braised wild boar, or mature Pecorino Stagionato.
