Millanni Toscana IGT

A red wine with history: The Millanni was created in 1994 for the thousandth anniversary of the Cusona estate — and has been released since then only in years when Tuscany gives its best.

Guicciardini Strozzi is one of the oldest wineries in Tuscany. Cusona, located near San Gimignano, has been in the family for over a thousand years — a continuity reflected in the house's philosophy: no mass production, but strict selection. The Millanni is the flagship of this stance, a classic Super Tuscan from the heart of the IGT movement.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red. On the nose, blackberry, black cherry, and an undertone of cinnamon and dark pepper. On the palate, dense and concentrated, with tannins that have volume but do not scratch — ripe, firmly integrated, with a long, spicy finish.

Serving temperature 17–18 °C. Pairs with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, braised wild boar, or aged Pecorino Stagionato.
