°Marsala Vergine Soleras DOC

Marsala Vergine is the purest category of the Sicilian classic — no addition of grape must concentrate, no caramel, just wine, time, and oak. The Lombardo Vergine Soleras DOC, made from the Cataratto and Grillo grape varieties, matures for at least five years in the solera system, in which older and younger vintages are gradually blended together. Each bottle bears an individual number.

In the glass, it shows amber depth and aromas of honey, roasted nuts, and dried fruits — the typical profile of long barrel aging without sweetening interventions. The finish is warm, long, and dry, with a fine oxidative note reminiscent of Amontillado or Vin Jaune. 19% ABV gives it body without heaviness.

Pure at 10–12 °C as an aperitif or after a meal — it can also handle some refrigerator temperature. Classic with almond and pistachio pastries, aged Pecorino, or as an accompaniment to liver and hearty pâtés.
