Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Magnum

Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Magnum
This Chianti Classico Riserva comes exclusively from Tenuta Tignanello — one of Tuscany's most renowned estates, synonymous with the quality of Sangiovese in Chianti Classico for decades. Twelve months of aging in barriques give the wine structure and depth without overpowering its origin.
In the glass, it displays dark cherry, plum, and a hint of dried herbs—typical of Sangiovese grown on the Galestro and Alberese soils of Chianti Classico. The vanilla from the oak aging is subtle, the tannins are present but well-integrated. The finish is long and spicy.
Magnum bottles mature more slowly than standard bottles—the ratio of wine volume to oxygen permeability is more favorable, giving the wine more time and a more even development. Drinking window: now until 2032.
- Temperature: 16–18 °C, ideally decanted for 30 minutes
- Food: Florentine bistecca, wild boar salami, aged Pecorino Toscano
- Occasion: Large gathering, festive table — the Magnum looks great at the table.
