Mampe Airline Spritz - Airline Cocktail
Mampe Airline Spritz is a ready-to-drink liqueur based on the recipe of the historic pilot's cocktail—the in-flight drink served above the clouds as far back as the Zeppelin era. The traditional Berlin brand Mampe, a fixture in German liqueur history since 1831, has interpreted the recipe as a ready-to-drink Spritz.
In the glass, it reveals a light, fruit-forward profile—classic for Mampes' style, which combines sweetness with a clear structure. As a base for a quick summer cocktail: simply top it up with chilled sparkling wine or champagne, add a few ice cubes and a sprig of fresh mint. The result is a light drink with retro charm.
- Drinking suggestion: 4–5 cl Mampe Airline Spritz, well-chilled sparkling wine of your choice, served in a highball glass with ice and mint
- Occasion: Summer terrace, aperitif, garden party
- Temperature: Well chilled, 6–8 °C
Mampe – The best schnapps from Berlin since 1831
Nearly 200 years of history are contained in every bottle of Mampe. What was once mixed as a remedy against cholera is today a true Berlin institution – rough, direct and full of character, just like the city itself.
In the Berlin-Kreuzberg distillery, high-quality liqueurs, gins, vodkas, and classics like the legendary Halb&Halb – recognizable by the elephant on the label – are handcrafted. Only the genuine article has a trunk.
Mampe stands for Berlin schnapps culture without frills: clear attitude, best ingredients, genuine taste.
