Lunazul Reposado Tequila 0.7L

Lunazul Reposado is a Mexican tequila that combines the sweetness of baked agave with gentle wood spice. Stylistically, it lies between the fresh Blanco and the more robust Añejo.

Behind the brand is Heaven Hill, the Kentucky company that has been distilling spirits since 1935 and is best known for its bourbon. For a Reposado, the category dictates a resting period in wood of at least two and at most twelve months. Hence the oak note alongside the agave core.

In the glass, grilled pineapple, baked agave, and oak wood appear, along with a soft, round texture. Recommendation: neat at room temperature in a tulip glass or over a large ice cube. In a cocktail, it gives a Paloma or Margarita more depth than a Blanco. At the table, it pairs well with tacos al pastor with grilled pineapple, as fruit and wood intertwine.
