Behind the brand is Heaven Hill, a family-run spirits house from the United States, which is primarily known for its bourbon. Fittingly, the tequila matures for twelve to eighteen months in bourbon barrels. Hence the soft, vanilla-like character that rounds off the agave profile.

In the glass, vanilla sits alongside citrus freshness, and the wood of the bourbon barrels gives the tequila roundness. It drinks smoothly and needs no detours to convince.
