Lillet Rosé Aperitif from France

Lillet Rosé Aperitif from France
Lillet Rosé comes from Podensac in the Bordeaux region and is based on a blend of Merlot, Sémillon, and Sauvignon Blanc, infused with fruit liqueurs made from sweet and bitter oranges – a process that the House of Lillet has used since 1872. It is not a vermouth, but a wine-forward aperitif with 17% alcohol by volume.
Pale salmon pink in the glass. On the nose, strawberry, raspberry, orange blossom, and a hint of grapefruit. Soft and fresh on the palate: light sweetness, subtle bitterness on the finish.
Serving suggestion: over plenty of ice with tonic water and a slice of grapefruit or fresh strawberries. Also excellent as a base for a rosé spritz with Prosecco. Serve at 6–8 °C, consume within four weeks of opening.
