Powerful black fruit, a hint of mint and velvety tannins — the Lesegut Tinto from Marqués de Griñón is an uncomplicated red wine with a distinct character that delivers far more than its price would suggest.
Marqués de Griñón Family Estates represents Spanish winemaking with international aspirations. The winery is particularly renowned for its work in Toledo, where the Mediterranean climate and poor soils produce red wines with natural concentration and structure.
In the glass, it displays a rich purple-red color with cherry-red highlights. The nose is dominated by black cherry and wild berries, accompanied by a fresh peppermint note and a hint of caramel. On the palate, it is soft, with rounded tannins and a fruit-driven finish—approachable without being shallow.

Marqués de Griñón Family Estates
Marqués de Griñón stands for something that is unparalleled in the Spanish wine world: pioneering spirit with centuries-old roots.
Carlos Falcó, fifth Marqués de Griñón, began experimenting with modern viticulture in the 1970s on his estate Dominio de Valdepusa – a family domain since 1292. In 2003, Valdepusa was awarded the coveted Pago classification as the first winery in Spain ever: the highest quality level in the country.
What is created here are not mass-produced wines – but characterful drops from the heart of Castile. And those who look closely will also discover fine olive oils from the same terroir.
