Marqués de Griñón stands for something that is unparalleled in the Spanish wine world: pioneering spirit with centuries-old roots.
Carlos Falcó, fifth Marqués de Griñón, began experimenting with modern viticulture in the 1970s on his estate Dominio de Valdepusa – a family domain since 1292. In 2003, Valdepusa was awarded the coveted Pago classification as the first winery in Spain ever: the highest quality level in the country.
What is created here are not mass-produced wines – but characterful drops from the heart of Castile. And those who look closely will also discover fine olive oils from the same terroir.

Dominio de Valdepusa
Carlos Falcó, fifth Marqués de Griñón, transformed the family estate Dominio de Valdepusa into Castile's most famous terroir. In 2003, it was the first winery in Spain to be awarded the Pago classification – the country's highest quality level. In the assortment: characterful red wines and olive oils from the same soil.
