Le Serre Nuove is the second wine of Ornellaia: a dry red wine from Bolgheri that shows the estate's signature while possessing its own profile. This magnum (1.5 l) is suitable for a large table and for evenings with several guests.

Ornellaia is one of the defining wineries of the Tuscan coast. Le Serre Nuove is created under the same sky and according to the same philosophy as the Grand Vin. Cabernet Franc is one of the grape varieties that helps define the profile of the wines in Bolgheri. It brings freshness and fine spice to the glass. The 2024 vintage stands for the house line: structure and clarity, plus expression and depth.

In the glass, the wine appears balanced and focused, with ripe fruit, fine spice, and clear lines. On the palate, it is structured and harmonious, with precise texture and a persistent finish.

Recommendation: Serve it at 16 to 18 °C and decant it beforehand so it opens up. It goes with braised beef, rack of lamb with rosemary, pasta with game ragout, or long-aged Pecorino. Together with the Grand Vin, it shows two perspectives on the same terroir.
