Lakrids by Bülow represents Danish licorice confectionery that straddles the line between candy and fine pastry. The lemon variety combines delicate licorice with a light chocolate coating and a fresh lemon note—a contrast that works: the slight bitterness of the licorice meets zesty citrus spice.
The pieces are handcrafted, coated with an even layer of chocolate and a soft center. Perfect as a small gift, with a cheese board, or simply with a glass of wine in the evening. Especially good with a dry Riesling Spätlese or a light Moscato d'Asti—the lemon's acidity complements the fruitiness in the glass.

Johan Bülow comes from a family of entrepreneurs and was always certain that he wanted to create something truly special. He dedicated his passion and all his energy to licorice, a popular Scandinavian sweet that he believed deserved more attention. He invested a great deal of time, learned the craft from the ground up, and in 2007 was able to cook, roll, and cut his very first product.
