La Grande Haie Sancerre Blanc

Sancerre from the smallest spot: The La Grande Haie parcel covers just 0.5 hectares — what grows there is vinified by cellar master Rodrigo Zamorano as an independent cuvée.

The Domaine Hubert Brochard winery is one of the well-known addresses of the Loire appellation Sancerre, where Sauvignon Blanc thrives on limestone, flint, and clay. La Grande Haie stands for a more concentrated expression: strict selection in the vineyard, twelve months of aging in amphorae instead of steel tanks — a process that rounds out the texture without adding wood aromas.

In the glass, light yellow. On the nose, citrus peel, white currant, and a mineral undertone reminiscent of wet pebbles. On the palate, supple with firmly integrated acidity, long salty-mineral finish — typical for the best sites of the appellation.
