Small Rust Pinotage Rose FAIRTRADE

An uncomplicated rosé wine from Stellenbosch – fruity, lively and with a clear conscience in the glass: The Kleine Rust Pinotage Rosé bears the FAIRTRADE seal and comes from the South African winery Stellenrust.

Stellenrust lies in the heart of Stellenbosch, one of South Africa's most renowned wine regions. Pinotage – the South African cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault – provides the basis for a rosé with character: the grape variety brings structure and depth without being heavy.

In the glass, it displays a clear raspberry pink. The nose offers aromas of strawberry and raspberry, along with hints of peach and apricot. On the palate, a lively acidity carries the wine, while mineral notes provide a sense of grounding. The finish is soft and rounded – not a long aftertaste, but a clean conclusion.

Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C . Pairs well with light summer salads, grilled vegetables, goat cheese, or grilled salmon. Also a solid choice as a simple aperitif on the patio.
