Kiedricher Klosterberg Riesling Qualitätswein trocken

This Riesling is the quintessential embodiment of a Rheingau Riesling, unique in its freshness and assertive minerality. It bears the signature of Wilhelm Weil, who has managed the Kiedrich winery for three decades, representing the fourth generation of his family to do so. Among the outstanding vineyard sites cultivated by Wilhelm and his team is the southwest-facing Klosterberg in Kiedrich, a site characterized by gneiss and slate. This wine is clearly defined by its location and is unmistakable. It displays a vibrant energy on the palate, filling the glass with almost peppery spice and juicy fruit, with lively hints of citrus, quince, and apricot. The finish is very clean, almost saline.

Robert Weil

VDP Member Estate

Robert Weil – a name that stands for Rheingau excellence. Wilhelm Weil, great-grandson of the founder, runs the estate today in Kiedrich. 89.80 hectares of vineyards, 100 percent Riesling. His best sites, above all the Gräfenberg, lie high above the Rhine – the harvest begins about two weeks later.

Historic manor house, modern winery, a garden landscape: tradition and modernity in harmony. This is exactly what you find in the wines. Rheingau, as it should be.
