Justino's Madeira Reserve Fine Dry 5 Years Old

Justino's Madeira Reserve Fine Dry 5 Years Old
Five years of barrel aging, the warmth of the Atlantic and one of the world's most fascinating wine regions are contained in this bottle: Madeira Fine Dry in its most accessible form.
Justino's is one of the oldest and largest Madeira producers—founded in 1870 and now family-owned by the HM Borges group. The winery processes grapes from all of the island's growing regions and is known for its meticulously crafted reserve wines. The Fine Dry is based on the Tinta Negra grape variety and undergoes the characteristic Estufagem process: controlled heating that gives the wine its typical oxidation and longevity.
In the glass, it displays a light yellow-brown color. The nose offers aromas of dried apricot, a hint of walnut, and the slightly smoky note so typical of Madeira. On the palate, it is surprisingly light and lively—the acidity remains present, the dryness crisp. The finish is warm, medium-long, with a delicate salty-nutty aftertaste.
Its best use is at the table: with aged Manchego cheese, olive oil bruschetta, or as an accompaniment to smoked fish appetizers. Serving temperature 12–14 °C. Also suitable as an aperitif — served chilled, neat.

Justino's Madeira is one of the oldest producers of Madeira wine – and you can taste it in every glass. For generations, this company on the Pearl of the Atlantic has dedicated itself to a single goal: crafting Madeira the way it should be. Profound, expressive, and distinctive. The island's rugged volcanic landscape and the knowledge of long-gone winemaking families – all of this is captured in every bottle. What makes Justino's special is its respect for the craft, combined with the courage to evolve. Tradition and curiosity are not mutually exclusive here – they are interdependent. The result is wines that will surprise you: complex yet approachable, with a depth you won't soon forget.
