Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherfold AVA, Napa County 0.75L

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherfold AVA, Napa County 0.75L
Rutherford is one of the most famous sites in Napa Valley — known for the so-called "Rutherford Dust," a velvety tannin profile that makes Cabernet Sauvignon from this corner of the valley unmistakable. Inglenook is one of the historic names of the region: the winery was founded in 1879 and shaped Californian viticulture for generations. Today, it stands for classic Napa style with a focus on structure and site factor.
This Cabernet Sauvignon shows a deep ruby color in the glass. On the nose, cassis, black plum, and blackberry, behind that undergrowth, lavender, and a hint of herbal spice — typical for the Rutherford AVA. Concentrated on the palate, with dense fruit and that characteristic velvety tannin that earned the site its reputation. The finish is long and slightly earthy.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Goes well with beef fillet with herb butter, braised lamb shoulder, or mature cheddar.
