Hibiki Japanese Harmony Blended Whiskey
Hibiki Japanese Harmony is the entry into the world of Suntory's Japanese blending art — a whisky that shows why harmony as a stylistic principle should be taken seriously.
Suntory, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii in Yamazaki, is considered a pioneer of Japanese whisky culture. Since 1989, the Hibiki style has stood for blending at the highest level of craftsmanship: several single malts from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, as well as grain whisky from Chita, are assembled into a well-rounded, coherent cuvée. Aged portions of Mizunara oak—the rare Japanese oak wood—contribute to its distinctive character.
In the glass, it displays a warm amber color. The nose offers honey, white chocolate, and a hint of sandalwood. On the palate, orange peel, vanilla, and dried rose petals emerge—the floral notes are no accident, but rather a result of the Mizunara aging process. The finish is long, slightly spicy, and smooth.
Neat at room temperature or with a large ice cube. Classically also served as Mizuwari — with still water in a 1:2 ratio, a preferred drinking style in Japan that unlocks the subtle aromas.

Beam Suntory – the story of two worlds that could hardly be more different. And yet, they share the same core: a deep respect for craftsmanship. On one side, Kentucky, 1795: Jacob Beam rolls his first barrel. From it comes Jim Beam – bourbon that has shaped generations. On the other side, Japan, 1899: Shinjiro Torii dreams of a whiskey that suits the Japanese palate. What connects these brands? Patience. Every bottle sealed by hand, every maturation process taken seriously. No compromises. Whether smoky Bowmore, smooth Hibiki, or familiar Jim Beam – here you can feel the attitude. Harmony with nature, responsibility. For over two centuries.
