Gin MARE

Gin Mare is a Spanish gin produced in small batches in a small distillery in an old fishing village on the Costa Dorada. The goal in producing Gin Mare was to create a gin that exhibits a very fresh and Mediterranean flavor profile.

Juniper and ginger determine the basic tenor of Gin Mare and are combined with ingredients of green olives, basil from Italy, rosemary from Greece, and thyme from Turkey to form a perfect composition. Not too dominant in the nose, Gin Mare is very refreshing on the palate and convinces with fruity, spicy notes that inevitably remind one of a spice market in the Mediterranean.

Right from the first impression, Gin Mare shows what it promises on the label; a Mediterranean flavor. In addition to the juniper, which fits optimally into the other aromas, the aromas of cucumber, rosemary, and olive stand out. In the mouth, this gin showed a subtle sweetness and juniper notes rounded off by olive and rosemary.

The long-lasting, warming finish is salty. In terms of taste, therefore, it is set to the Mediterranean from beginning to end.
