Gin Mare comes from Spain and specializes in something unusual: a gin that doesn't smell of juniper, but rather of a Mediterranean herb garden. Rosemary, basil, thyme, and Arbequina olives form the aromatic backbone – and each of these botanicals is individually macerated and distilled separately before being blended into the final cuvée. This allows each component to develop its own unique character.
The result of this meticulous care is clearly evident in the glass: a dry, herbaceous gin with a delicate oiliness reminiscent of freshly pressed olive oil and a long, spicy finish.
