It is produced by the Thomas Sippel distillery in the Palatinate, a family-run business that is closely connected to its region. Attachment to home and a desire to experiment come together here. The result is a gin with a clear idea: ginger as the lead aroma instead of ingredients for their own sake.

In the glass, ginger shapes the nose and palate: warm, spicy, with a slightly sharp, fresh note. The juniper forms the resinous-tart framework, the finish remains spicy. This is exactly what makes it a gin for long drinks.

Recommendation: as a Gin Tonic with a slice of lemon, as a Gin Buck with ginger beer and lime, or neat on ice. Serve it well-chilled and with plenty of ice in the glass, then the freshness of the ginger is preserved.
