Finca Las Moras Los Intocables Black Malbec

A Malbec that leaves the classic path: instead of oak barrels, the Los Intocables Black matures for twelve months in ex-bourbon barrels – this leaves clear traces in the glass.

Finca Las Moras is located in San Juan, north of Mendoza, at an altitude of over 600 meters. Strong sunlight during the day and cool nights ensure concentrated fruit while maintaining freshness. The winery has been focusing on experimental vinification for years – the use of bourbon barrels is part of this signature.

In the glass, the Malbec shows deep ruby red. On the nose, blackberry and cassis, behind it roasted aromas of caramel and vanilla, a hint of tobacco. On the palate, full-bodied with soft tannins; the twelve months in wood have integrated the structure well. The finish is long, spicy with persistent dark fruit.

Drinking recommendation: Best served between 16 and 18 °C. Pairs well with grilled beef fillet, lamb shank with rosemary, or a strong hard cheese like Manchego.
