Etoile Rosé Vin de France 3.0L

The Étoile Rosé is the prestige cuvée from Domaines Ott: vinified dry, with Grenache as the grape variety, and in a 3-liter magnum bottle that draws attention at the table.

Domaines Ott is one of the well-known rosé houses of Provence. For the Étoile, the most characterful batches from the three estates Clos Mireille, Château de Selle, and Château Romassan are blended together. Bottled as Vin de France, the wine carries the house's organic label.

In the glass, it shows a fragrant peach-pink with golden shimmers. The nose starts fresh with elderflower and a hint of vanilla, followed by peach, citrus, and a trace of exotic fruit. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and gains momentum through an iodine-salty contour. Orange peel accompanies the clear fruit. The finish combines chalky minerality with sweet spice.

Serve it at 10 to 12 °C. It pairs well with grilled fish, seafood, Mediterranean vegetables, or a platter of goat cheese. The large bottle is suitable for summer evenings in larger groups, for celebrations, and long tables.

The Domaine

Domaines Ott

Domaines Ott is a French winery located in Provence, in the sun-drenched south of the country. It was founded in 1836 by Marcel Ott and is today owned and managed by Jean-François and Christian Ott – for generations, the family has thus remained true to its own ambition of creating wines of exceptional elegance.

The winery consists of three characterful domains: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille, and Château Romassan, which together have a vineyard area of more than 200 hectares. Each of these sites contributes its own terroir – from the barren hills in the interior to the coastal vineyards with a Mediterranean climate. For production, grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah are grown, which in this variety of soils and sites grow into wines with fine structure and typical Provençal freshness.

Since 2004, Domaines Ott has been part of the renowned champagne house Louis Roederer – a connection that further underscores tradition and the highest quality standards. Anyone who tastes the wines of Domaines Ott experiences Provence in its elegant, unmistakable best form.
