Yalumba is one of Australia's oldest family wineries and has significantly shaped the Viognier grape variety in this country. The Eden Valley lies in the cooler high altitudes of the Barossa Ranges — the temperature fluctuations between day and night ensure aromatic intensity while maintaining freshness. The Samuel's Collection stands for varietal wines that clearly bring out the character of the respective site.

In the glass, ripe peaches and apricots, plus yellow apple and a hint of grapefruit. Typical for well-made Viognier from a cooler climate: the aromatics remain present without becoming intrusive. On the palate, juicy, with lively freshness and a lean, elegant body — not a lush, fat style, but a wine with contour.

Serve well-chilled at 10–12 °C. Pairs with chicken with saffron sauce, grilled prawns, mild goat cheese, or a light Thai curry with coconut milk.
