Dry GIN-seng 0.3L

Dry GIN-seng from Dr. Jaglas is a handmade dry gin from Germany with 50% vol, which classifies itself as a Navy Gin. Juniper is at the front, earthy ginseng roots run along as a second line. You rarely find this combination on the gin shelf.

The basis is five-fold distilled wheat alcohol, in which fresh juniper berries and ginseng roots come together. The recipe is based on a historical juniper berry recipe from 1872. The handy 0.3-liter bottle is well-suited for getting to know the gin in peace.

In the glass, fresh juniper dominates, underneath lies the earthy note of the root. The high alcohol content gives the gin pressure and length.

Recommendation: as a gin and tonic with lemon zest, in a Negroni or Martini, where it holds its own against strong ingredients. You drink it neat ice-cold or on a large ice cube.
