Don Papa

Don Papa is a Philippine premium rum from the island of Negros – a region that its inhabitants affectionately call "Sugarlandia" because it produces the majority of the national sugar supply. Founded in 2011 by Stephen Carroll and Andrew John Garcia, the brand debuted in Bacolod in 2012 and has since risen to become the most famous rum address in the Philippines.

The name honors Papa Isio, a rebel leader of the Philippine Revolution of the 1890s – a sign that Don Papa Rum always wants to tell a story. The heart of the house is an aging process in American oak barrels, where the tropical climate ensures unusual density and depth through an angel's share of up to 12% per year.
