Domaine Bousquet Chardonnay Reserve

The Domaine Bousquet Chardonnay Reserve is made from grapes grown in Alto Gualtallary, Tupungato. At 1200 meters above sea level, this vineyard is among the highest in the Mendoza region. The grapes for the Reserva wines are grown in the estate's own vineyards, which are cultivated to ensure the highest quality with the lowest possible yields. The Chardonnay rests for six months in French oak barrels and on the lees before bottling. The wine then has a greenish-yellow color with golden highlights. On the nose, one can detect tropical fruits and floral citrus notes. On the palate, it is balanced and smooth. The wine is very fruity overall, showing notes of vanilla and a refreshing acidity. 90 points James Suckling 2021 vintage; 90 points Wine Spectator 2019 vintage; 93 points James Suckling 2019 vintage
