Disznoko Tokay Edes Szamorodni

Discover the charming little brother of the famous Tokaji! The Disznoko Edes Szamorodni is like a well-kept family secret from the legendary vineyards of Tokaj – less well-known, but just as captivating. "Szamorodni" means "as it grew" in Hungarian – and it is precisely this naturalness that makes this wine so special. Here, healthy grapes and those affected by the noble botrytis are processed together, creating a unique balance between freshness and concentrated sweetness. It shimmers a golden yellow with seductive aromas of honey, ripe pears, almonds, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is elegantly sweet, but never overpowering – the lively acidity ensures perfect harmony. Perfect as an aperitif, with fruit desserts, or simply as a relaxed indulgence at the end of the day. A wine that showcases the authentic side of Hungarian wine culture.

Tokaj Disznókő Vineyards and Winery Plc.

Disznókő – “Wild Boar Stone” – has been a name synonymous with exceptional Tokaji wines since 1413. The large volcanic rock at the heart of the vineyards continues to shape the character of the wines. Since 1992, the estate has experienced a renaissance under AXA Millésimes. 104 contiguous hectares, once owned by nobility, are now one of the few Tokaji wineries with a unified terroir. Volcanic soils of rhyolite and tuff lend the wines their distinctive complexity. Here, Furmint grapes mature into exquisitely sweet masterpieces – botrytis, fruity purity, and vibrant freshness. “The Wine of Kings” – this title is truly lived out here every day.
