Director's Cut Dry Creek Zinfandel

Zinfandel from the Dry Creek Valley is one of California's most characterful red wines — and Coppola's Director's Cut shows why: fully ripe fruit, rustic spice, a wine with attitude.

The Dry Creek Valley north of San Francisco is considered one of the world's finest Zinfandel vineyards. Unusually for Northern California, many vineyards here are not irrigated, resulting in more concentrated grapes and a more pronounced character. Francis Ford Coppola, known for his wineries in Sonoma County, emphasizes meticulous craftsmanship in his Director's Cut line, combining various cultivation methods to capture the depth of this terroir in every glass.

The nose is dominated by ripe blackberry and plum, with hints of brioche and dried herbs. On the palate, the typical Zinfandel body is evident: full-bodied, with soft tannins and a subtle peppery spice on the finish. Not a subtle wine—but one that directly displays its character.
