Core Rosato Campania IGT
A rosé wine from Campania that shows what Aglianico can achieve beyond the great red wines: fresh, tense and with an unmistakable Southern Italian spice.
Montevetrano is one of the defining names of the Campanian wine scene. The winery in the province of Salerno has made the region internationally known and works with grape varieties that correspond to the volcanic soils and the Mediterranean climate of Campania. The Core Rosato is the light-footed expression of this philosophy — Aglianico in its brightest, most vibrant form.
In the nose, wild strawberry, pomegranate and pink grapefruit, underpinned by fresh herbs. On the palate, the grape variety shows its characteristic tension: red berry fruit, fine spice and an animating acid structure that keeps the wine lively. The finish brings mineral hints and a delicate citrus note — a finish that lingers longer than one would expect from a rosé.
Best served at 10–12 °C. Pairs with grilled octopus with lemon, burrata with tomatoes and basil or light pasta dishes with seafood. Also a safe choice as an aperitif on a warm evening.
