Corazón Blanco 0.7L

Corazón Blanco is a clear tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave, triple-distilled and entirely focused on the fruit of the agave. It comes from the Casa San Matias distillery in Mexico, and the brand belongs to Sazerac.

On the nose, sweet, cooked agave is in the foreground, accompanied by floral and fruity nuances. On the palate, baked pineapple and mandarin follow, plus a surprising note of roasted jalapeños. The mandarin brings citrus freshness, while the jalapeños set a spicy counterpoint to the sweetness of the agave. The texture is creamy, carried by mineral freshness. The finish remains spicy.

Pure in a nosing glass at room temperature, agave and pineapple come into their own most clearly; a few drops of water open up the floral tones. In the mixing glass, it is the clear base for a Margarita with fresh lime juice or a Paloma with grapefruit and a pinch of salt. The Blanco also goes well with ceviche or tacos al pastor because the pineapple and spice tie in there.
