Cognac Bowen XO 18-20 years in GP 0.7L

This XO from Cognac Bowen combines Eaux-de-vie from the Borderies, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne crus. It is aged for 18 to 20 years. In the glass, it appears dark amber to mahogany red, with a warm orange-red glow.

The three crus share the tasks: the Borderies provide the striking violet notes, while Grande and Petite Champagne contribute fragrant aromas of iris and wisteria. The house of Bowen bottles its cognac in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France.

On the nose, it is deep and almost opulent. On the palate, you will find preserved plums, dried apricots, and prunes, along with blossoms and spices. Soft fullness and density meet power, while the character remains gentle.

Drink it neat at room temperature in a tulip glass or snifter, classically as a digestif after a meal. Dark chocolate or pastries with dried fruits pair well with it. In its gift box, it is also suitable as a gift for special occasions.
