Château Mille Roses AOC Margaux - ORGANIC
A Margaux that takes its appellation character seriously: elegant, but with substance — not a heavy show wine, but a red wine with genuine drinkability.
Sophie and David Faure founded Château Mille Roses in 1999 and have been farming 9.5 hectares in Margaux biodynamically ever since. The soils are typical for the appellation: sandy sites with a gravel layer that provide drainage and warmth to the Cabernet Sauvignon without overheating it. Young, but with a clear profile — that is the signature of this estate.
In the glass, the Cabernet Sauvignon shows dark cherry and cassis, plus a hint of graphite and cedar wood. The tannin is solid but not rough — it carries the wine without blocking it. The acidity keeps everything in balance, the finish is medium-long and dry.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with rack of lamb with a herb crust, entrecôte, or a strong goat cheese. Those who let it age a little will be rewarded with more complexity.
