Château Mille Roses AOC Margaux - ORGANIC
A Margaux that takes its appellation character seriously: elegant, but with substance — not a heavy show wine, but a red wine with real drinkability.
Sophie and David Faure founded Château Mille Roses in 1999 and have since cultivated 9.5 hectares in Margaux biodynamically. The soils are typical of the appellation: sandy layers with a pebble topsoil, providing the Cabernet Sauvignon with drainage and warmth without overheating it. Young, yet with a distinct profile—that is the hallmark of this winery.
In the glass, the Cabernet Sauvignon displays dark cherry and cassis, along with a hint of graphite and cedar. The tannins are firm but not harsh—they support the wine without overpowering it. The acidity keeps everything in balance, and the finish is medium-long and dry.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C . Pairs well with herb-crusted lamb loin, entrecôte, or a strong goat cheese. A little aging will reward you with greater complexity — best enjoyed by 2028.
