Chateau Labegorce Margaux Cru Bourgeois

A classic Margaux that showcases the elegance of the left bank without much fanfare: fine structure, dark fruit, velvety finish.

Château Labégorce lies in the heart of the Margaux appellation, surrounded by Grand Crus Classés. The estate is among the most consistent Crus Bourgeois of the appellation and works with the typical Bordeaux blending approach: Cabernet Sauvignon as the backbone, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot .

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red. The nose offers blackberry and cassis, along with a hint of cedar and dark cherry. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with finely spun tannins and a fresh acidity that carries the long finish—typical Margaux, not an ounce of excessive oak. The 2019 vintage was awarded 90 points by Wine Spectator .

Château Labégorce

Château Labégorce is located directly on the famous Route des Châteaux in Margaux – sandwiched between Château Margaux and Lascombes, surrounded by 70 hectares of vineyards on sandy-gravelly soils.

Since 1989, the Perrodo family has run the winery with great passion and a deep understanding of the terroir. The result is wines that showcase Margaux at its finest: charming, finely structured, with vibrant fruit expression. The classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot matures for 12 to 14 months in barriques – precise, without exaggeration.
