Château Haut Condissas AC Médoc 0.75L

A Médoc that combines the classic structure of the left bank of the Gironde with the distinct character of Cabernet Franc — a dense red wine with a clear profile of its origin.

Château Haut Condissas is located in the Médoc, the long peninsula north of Bordeaux known for its heavy gravel soils and Atlantic-influenced climate. Cabernet Franc traditionally plays a supporting role here — but here it takes center stage, bringing an aromatic vibrancy that pure Cabernet Sauvignon cuvées rarely show.

In the glass, it reveals blackberry and red plum, accompanied by violets and a hint of graphite. The tannins are present but not coarse — medium structure, invigorating acidity, and a spicy finish with a touch of bell pepper and herbs. Typical Cabernet Franc: slightly leaner than a Cabernet-Sauvignon-dominated Médoc, but aromatically more direct.

Pairs well with leg of lamb with herbs de Provence, entrecôte, or aged Tomme. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
