Château Beaumont Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

Château Beaumont Cru Bourgeois Supérieur
A classic Médoc with the charm of the Haut-Médoc appellation: accessible, structured, and with the typical Bordeaux signature one expects from a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur.
Château Beaumont is located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, not far from Cussac-Fort-Médoc. The estate manages around 250 hectares of vineyards – making it one of the largest contiguous wineries in the appellation. The soil of gravelly shingle terraces provides the typical minerality and freshness that characterizes Médoc red wines. The classification as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur proves the consistent quality level over several vintages.
In the glass, the wine shows aromas of redcurrant and cherry, underscored by subtle vanilla notes from the barrique aging. On the palate, fine-limbed tannins, a medium body, and a fresh acidity structure that keeps the finish lively – without the force that older vintages of a Grand Cru bring with them.
- Food: Leg of lamb with rosemary, beef fillet, bistro classics like entrecôte with herb butter
- Temperature: 16–18 °C

Château Beaumont lies in the heart of the Médoc – one of the world's most renowned wine regions, where Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes reach their full potential on sandy-gravelly soils. The estate embodies classic Bordeaux style: structured, elegant, and with the depth that only a great terroir can provide.
What makes Château Beaumont special is its consistent approach in the vineyard, harmonizing nature and craftsmanship. Integrated viticulture here means intervening as little as possible – and capturing as much personality as possible in the bottle. You can taste it.
