Château Beau-Séjour Bécot

Beau-Séjour Bécot is one of the great names of Saint-Émilion – a Premier Grand Cru Classé B with roots in the 17th century, now run by the third generation of the Bécot family. The estate is located on the famous limestone plateau northwest of the village, where the vines penetrate deep into the rock, giving the wine its characteristic mineral tension.

In the glass, a typical Saint-Émilion reveals itself with Merlot as its backbone: aromas of boysenberry, black raspberry, and baked plum, along with chocolate-covered cherry, a hint of lavender, and dried Provençal herbs. Medium to full-bodied, juicy fruit, firm yet fine-grained tannins – well-structured, with a long, spicy finish.
