Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut Méthode Traditionnelle - French sparkling wine 0.75L

A sparkling wine that shows what the Languedoc can do when it focuses on its strengths: fresh high altitudes, cool climate, and the Méthode Traditionnelle as a craft instead of a marketing promise.

Les Jamelles is the flagship label of Badet Clément, one of the most famous Négociant houses of the south. The grapes for this Brut come from Limoux in the Haute Vallée de l'Aude — a region that has been producing sparkling wine for centuries and whose high altitudes between 300 and 500 meters provide acidity structure that the Languedoc otherwise often lacks. Bottle fermentation according to the traditional method gives the wine its fine perlage and the characteristic yeast character.

In the glass, a light, golden-yellow color appears with persistent mousse. On the nose, citrus fruit, green apple, and a subtle brioche tone from the yeast aging. Dry and lively on the palate, with a clear acidity line and a fresh, clean finish. The Pinot Noir brings some body and structure, the Chardonnay the lightness.

As an aperitif, with quiche lorraine, goat cheese, or light fish dishes. Serving temperature: 7–9 °C.
