Buffalo Trace 0.7L

Buffalo Trace is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon with a distinct sweetness. The high corn content in the grain bill defines its style. A classic bourbon that is just as good to drink neat as it is in a cocktail.

It is aged in heavily charred barrels, which impart vanilla and spice to the distillate. Its home is Kentucky, the heartland of American bourbon.

The nose first reveals a light spice, followed by mint, molasses, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is balanced and spicy, with the sweetness of brown sugar and vanilla taking center stage. In the long, dry finish, oak and grain emerge, again accompanied by vanilla.

Recommendation: neat or on ice. A splash of water brings out fruity notes. Because of its sweetness and spice, it is also suitable for an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. As an accompaniment, pecan pie or grilled food with a smoky glaze are a good match.
