Bucatini, organic

Bucatini are a classic southern Italian pasta shape—thicker than spaghetti, with a fine channel through the middle that holds and absorbs rich sauces. This organic variety comes from Italy and adheres to the artisanal standards that have defined the shape for generations.

The hole in the middle is no accident: it ensures that the sauce adheres to the dough from both the inside and outside. The texture remains firm to the bite during cooking, and the wheat flavor comes through clearly. Aromas of grain, slightly nutty, with a pleasant, distinctive texture.

Classically paired with Amatriciana—guanciale, pecorino, tomato—or with a robust tomato sauce with black olives and capers. It also works well with Bolognese sauce. Cooking time: 9–11 minutes , drain al dente and toss directly in the pan with the sauce.
