Bodega Numanthia

Numanthia is the hallmark of the winery, known as the reference for the Toro designation. The wine is a subtle blend of grapes from more than 100 plots of the best terroirs, offering unique balance, elegance, and power. The style of Numanthia depends on the selection of exceptional vines that are between 50 and 100 years old, ungrafted, and non-irrigated. Their low yields provide year after year grapes of extreme concentration with intense fruit and structure.

The 2016 harvest will be remembered for its aromas of deep red and black fruits and its generous texture.

Color: Ripe cherry red color with ruby red reflections

Numanthia is expressive and deep, with a hint of red berries, smoky notes, garrigue aromas, and a background of sweet spices.

The first impression is soft and quickly fills your palate with great intensity. The velvety and ripe tannin goes wonderfully with the generous and voluminous texture. Black fruits such as blueberries and black currants, violet notes, and a hint of black pepper, cloves, and a tobacco leaf create complexity and length, surrounded by good acidity.
